This amplifier is based on the Dumble Overdrive Special to
satisfy the tone needs of the most demanding pro guitarists. It delivers
a truly creamy yet sparkling clean tone. Here it begins
to differ from it inspirer: I redesigned the transformer so
that it can achieve great performance in class A; 2 gain stages:
the first for for light overdrive, blues, and fusion tones; the
second for high gain that can go to extreme distortion. This can
be achieved by a push-pull of the volume pot in the drive channel.
It has 2 effects loop in series with the circuit that can be
removed with a switch in the back panel. It has a tube spring reverb
(accutronics); a power switch for full/half operation, speaker outs for 4, 8, 18 ohms.
The tone and punch out of this amp are incredible, and the noise is
impressively low. A truly great versatile amp.amp. Comes with footswitch for
reverb and channel selection.
